Terms of Service

Welcome to Glovio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the glovio.io website and all related services provided by Glovio ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Glovio provides done-for-you video localization services including but not limited to:

  • AI-powered video dubbing with voice cloning and lip sync.
  • Subtitle and caption translation.
  • Thumbnail localization and metadata optimization.
  • Channel creation, setup, and management on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Content publishing and distribution across platforms.
  • Comment management and audience engagement (Enterprise plan).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. By engaging our services, you represent that you have the rights and permissions to the content you provide for localization.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your channels, content, and goals.
  • Ensure you own or have proper licenses for all content submitted for localization.
  • Upload content to shared folders in a timely manner to maintain publishing schedules.
  • Not submit content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or violates any third-party rights.
  • Maintain the security of any account credentials shared with Glovio.

4. Content Ownership and License

Your content: You retain full ownership of all original content you provide to Glovio. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to translate, dub, localize, adapt, and publish that content solely for the purpose of delivering our services to you.

Localized content: Localized versions of your content (dubbed audio, translated thumbnails, adapted metadata) are created as derivative works for your benefit. You own the localized content. Glovio retains no ownership rights to your localized content after service termination.

Channel ownership: Language-specific channels created by Glovio on your behalf are owned by you. Upon service termination, full access and credentials are transferred to you.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • Services are billed monthly, per language, at the rate agreed upon at enrollment.
  • Current promotional pricing and standard rates are listed on our Pricing page.
  • The Pilot Month (where offered) is free and includes initial channel setup and a first localized batch.
  • Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle. Late payments may result in service suspension.
  • All fees are non-refundable once the localization work for a billing cycle has begun.

6. Pilot Month

Where applicable, Glovio offers a free Pilot Month so you can evaluate our service before committing. The Pilot Month includes channel setup and an initial batch of localized videos. No payment information is required to start. If you choose not to continue after the Pilot Month, there is no charge.

7. Cancellation and Pausing

  • You may cancel or pause your subscription at any time by providing at least 14 days written notice before the next billing cycle.
  • Upon cancellation, we complete any work in progress for the current billing period.
  • Channel access and credentials are transferred to you upon termination.
  • Pausing your account holds your spot with no penalty. Service resumes when you are ready.

8. Service Delivery

  • We target a 48-hour turnaround for standard localization orders. This is a target, not a guarantee, and may vary based on volume and complexity.
  • Pro and Enterprise plans include up to 50 videos per language per month at the standard rate.
  • We reserve the right to decline content that violates platform terms of service or applicable law.

9. Platform Compliance

Glovio operates within the terms of service of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. We are not responsible for actions taken by these platforms, including but not limited to channel suspensions, content removals, or policy changes that affect your localized channels.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glovio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total fees you paid to Glovio in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee specific results, view counts, follower growth, or revenue outcomes. Past performance metrics shared on our website represent actual results from specific cases and are not guarantees of future performance.

12. Intellectual Property

The Glovio name, logo, website design, and proprietary processes are the intellectual property of Glovio. You may not use our branding or materials without prior written permission.

13. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information exchanged during the engagement, including content strategies, analytics data, pricing, and business plans. This obligation survives termination of services.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Glovio harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration under the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration provider. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
